Is Lance Stroll Safe At Racing Point Formula One Team?

During Mid 2018, Sahara Force India's Boss Vijay Mallya Found Himself In Huge Legal Trouble After Being Arrested For Fraud Which Meant The Team Was Sold To Lawrence Stroll (Lance Stroll's Father) And The Consortium Lead By Him. This Meant His Son Lance, Would Get A Drive For 2019 But Is He Underperforming?

It is well known that Lance Stroll is harshly judged by the F1 community because of his fathers backing that has allowed him to race for teams like Williams and now SportPesa Racing Point. Whilst I do feel that these judgements are too harsh,  I do have a thing or two to say on his performance this season. He has been out-qualified by his teammate (Sergio Perez) at every race this season, which for a team of people that could have comfortably scored 4th in the constructor's championship last season is not a great way to start 2019.

In the races, however, he has only beaten Perez on one occasion. This was at the first race of the season in Melbourne so instead of improving on his teammate, he is definitely being outperformed by him.

The question is, Is Lance Stroll safe?

Although there is no doubt that his starts are amazing, Stroll is definitely underperforming but I cannot see a world in which his father, Will sack his own son unless Lawrence faces extreme pressure from the rest of the consortium so I think that Stroll Is safe for at least until the end of next season.
